Fëpifk-sîqê Bî (/ˈʤeqo/ /ˈsɪqɘ/ [private] [spirit; soul; empathy; essence]) is a subtropical Town located in Dragonlyn Dutchy, Pifîkèli Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Fëpifk-sîqê Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Fëpifk-sîqê Bî was founded by Mlê Zlkênhepî, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Fëpifk-sîqê Bî has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 19°C (66°F). Overview

Fëpifk-sîqê Bî was founded durring the early 15th century in fall of the year 1437, by Mlê Zlkênhepî. The establishment of Fëpifk-sîqê Bî was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Mlê Zlkênhepî struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Fëpifk-sîqê Bî as a prison colony.

Fëpifk-sîqê Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fëpifk-sîqê Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Fëpifk-sîqê Bî is buildings folow an organic layout of spacious baked earthen streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Fëpifk-sîqê Bî's size could have. The well-designed, yet cheep has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

A look around Fëpifk-sîqê Bî makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It’s a quiet town filled with closed scriptoriums, people quietly yet dejectedly reading in isolated places around town, and the occasional book laying in a heap of garbage.

Cultural Notes

Fëpifk-sîqê Bî's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.
